J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. has been named to Forbes magazine's Platinum List of America's Best Big Companies for the fourth consecutive year
J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. has been named to Forbes magazine's Platinum List of America's Best Big Companies for the fourth consecutive year.
Within the Transportation category of the listing, J.B. Hunt ranked second in 12-month earnings per-share growth and sixth in total return over the last 12 months. The company was No. 25 on the list overall, up from the No. 80 position it held the previous year.
According to the January 2005 issue of the magazine, Forbes analyzed 26 industries for companies with at least $1 billion in revenue and high rankings for corporate practices as well as long- and short-term sales and earnings growth and stock market performance.
