FedEx Custom Critical, Akron, Ohio, is North America's largest time-specific, critical-shipment carrier -- often referred to as expedited. Its fleet is made up entirely of independent owner-operators and the individuals who drive for them.
"We want to make it as easy as possible for owner-operators to learn more about expedited trucking opportunities at FedEx Custom Critical," said Virginia Albanese, managing director of service and safety. "With our expanded site, owner operators can easily contact us and submit their qualifications when it's most convenient for them."
Visitors can learn more about revenue opportunities, vehicle specifications and requirements to
become a contractor affiliated with FedEx Custom Critical. The company contracts with owner operators of tractor-trailers, straight trucks, cargo vans and minivans.
