EVO Trillium Opens New CNG Fueling Station in Oak Creek, Wis.
EVO CNG and its joint venture partner, Trillium CNG, have announced the opening of a new compressed natural gas fueling station located in Oak Creek, Wis.
The station’s anchor tenant, Sheehy Mail Contractors, operates ten Freightliner Cascadia tractors with Cummins-Westport ISX G engines, and is planning to add more this summer.
The station is open to the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It has four dispensers and features Trillium CNG’s proprietary fast-fill technology. The station has been designed to accommodate Class 8 tractors and trailers, as well as smaller vehicles.
“We took delivery of our ten 12 Liter CNG Cascadias in July of last year”, said John Sheehy, president of Sheehy Mail Contractors in Waterloo, Wis. ”Since then we have driven 700,000 miles with these trucks in one of the toughest winters on record. The CNG fleet performed as well as the diesel equipment in these severe conditions."
