Evans Distribution Systems established a new division, Government Support Services Inc. The new division will help support government agencies and sub-contractors with logistics and supply chain management.
Evans has enlisted the help of Stackpoole Consulting, a Michigan-based company specializing in defense and government contracting, for the project.
Support for government and defense logistics will include the following services:

- Inventory planning, management and visibility
- MRO support and management
- Transportation management services
- Fleet planning and operation
- Carrier management and routing
- Reverse logistics
- Logistics re-engineering and consultation support
