Drivewyze Offers Commercial Vehicle Bypass Service in Rhode Island
Rhode Island recently became the 13th state to adopt Drivewyze PreClear, a new bypass service provided through smartphone, tablet and select onboard computer technologies

The only bypass program offered in Rhode Island, Drivewyze PreClear provides bypass services at four mobile inspection sites in key locations throughout the state.
Rhode Island is embracing the new service, which requires no poles or transponders. Drivewyze PreClear uses cellular networks and the internet to enable smartphones, tablets and select EOBRs with transponder-like functionality.
Drivewyze PreClear is being offered in Rhode Island to drivers and fleets starting at $12.99 per month for interstate service.
Launched in early September, Drivewyze PreClear services provide a secure automated bypass solution for both permanent sites and mobile inspection sites, extending bypass services to local, low-volume and remote weigh stations and ports of entry.
Drivewyze PreClear provides bypass services to previously unserved or underserved regions of North America, now providing bypass service in Maine, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont, and extended bypass coverage throughout the Northeastern U.S., including the I-95 Corridor. Drivewyze PreClear also offers intrastate billing options in select states.
