The companies said this collaboration unites two platforms to address the rising customer demand for a holistic fleet management solution that seamlessly integrates digital tire management into existing fleet management systems.
Full Trailer Health Visibility
With the integration, customers get full visibility into trailer health on a single platform.
Customers are now able to run proactive maintenance across their fleet with a complete view on faults and issues in real time.
“Our tire monitoring integration with Samsara delivers a comprehensive and user-centric solution, giving insights on the trailer’s status through one single interface. Keeping a trailer and its tires in top condition helps fleets to operate safely, sustainably and cost-effectively. This is how fleet operators are well prepared for future challenges,” says Clarisa Doval, head of digital solutions, Continental Tires.
"Samsara is the industry's leading Connected Operations Platform, where customers can now see their TPMS insights, alongside operational context of Trailers, Vehicles, Equipment, Workflows, and more,” added David Gal, VP of product and engineering at Samsara. “We've built the most comprehensive solution to provide complete operational visibility - this unified view empowers fleets to maximize uptime and drive unparalleled efficiency."
How it Works
This integration provides a comprehensive view of the fleet’s tires. This enables early detection of tire issues, access to vehicle details and history and real-time notifications of any tire problems.
Continental’s tire sensors generate vital data points, including tire pressure, temperature and mileage, which customers can see within the context of their entire operation thanks to Samsara’s Smart Trailer Solution.
Users can view key tire performance metrics directly within the Samsara dashboard, alongside their other operational data, and then leverage the ContiConnect platform for deeper, more granular tire analysis.
Benefits
With the seamless integration of Samsara and Continental’s ContiConnect Pro Trailer Solution, fleets gain a comprehensive 360° view of their trailers’ health.

Fleet managers and drivers receive real-time alerts on tire pressure, leaks or temperature issues directly within their Samsara dashboard, enabling immediate action. For detailed diagnostics and in-depth analysis, they can seamlessly transition to the ContiConnect platform.
This integration, through ContiConnect, helps identify potential problems like tire pressure loss or tire wear due to high temperatures before they become costly repairs.
Predictive tire maintenance ensures that irregularities are caught early, reducing the risk of unscheduled downtime and keeping fleet operations running smoothly.
As a company, Samsara offers a variety of advanced telematics technology, from real-time GPS and in-cab alerts to AI cameras, safety reporting and equipment and maintenance monitoring.
Fleets using the Smart Trailer Solution, will now be able to manage their trailer assets as well as monitor the trailer’s tires in one singular platform.
The integration between Continental and Samsara is a customer centric approach that aims to enhance fleet safety, productivity and maintenance through comprehensive data sharing with the goal of reducing total ownership costs for fleets.
