At the start of TMW’s TransForum User Conference and Exhibition, several companies announced integrations with TMW Systems software including ALK Technologies, Comdata, Orbcomm and XRS.

“PC Miler from ALK has been a key component of successful transportation business operations in North America for many years,” said Scott Vanselous, EVP of marketing and strategy at TMW. “All TMS, routing and scheduling and optimization software products from TMW leverage this industry-standard commercial vehicle routing, mileage and mapping technology to support the most efficient and effective operations for our customers.”

Comdata announced that fleets using the Comdata card will be able to take advantage of integration with TMW’s ExpertFuel fuel purchase software. The integration offers Comdata customers increased transparency on fuel prices and better control over fuel purchases, according to Comdata.

Orbcomm’s fleet tracking and monitoring system now integrates with TMWSuite software, the company announced. TMWSuite users will gain access to data from Orbcomm’s GT1100 dry van trailer tracking and RT 6000+ cold chain monitoring software solutions.

TMWSuite users will also gain the use of Orbcomm’s interface functionality that allows users to optimize temperature compliance and prevent unauthorized usage.

“Our dry van and refrigerated customers can find additional business intelligence and near-real-time asset visibility with Orbcomm to enable them to maximize their resources and integrate services from end-to-end in the transportation process,” said Rod Strata, TMW Systems’ executive vice president of operations and general manager, TMWSuite.

XRS also announced integrations with TMW’s Innovative IES and Appian DirectRoute transportation management software. Fleet managers using TMW’s software can access vehicle and driver-specific data sourced from the XRS mobile fleet management solution directly through TMW applications.

Also the availability of driver hours of service data from the XRS electronic logging device application within the TMS can help fleets improve driver and tractor utilization and ensure that they are HOS compliant.

Drivers will also benefit with the ability to view routing and other driver-specific information from TMW software on their mobile devices. The simplified information delivery can streamline back-office to driver communication.
