CF Puts 8 More Facilities Up for Auction Thursday

As part of the largest real estate sale in transportation history -- 220 properties with an appraised value of more than $400 million -- Consolidated Freightways is placing a number of its distribution facilities on the auction block this Thursday.

Interested parties who would like to participate in the April 10 bankruptcy auctions should submit the form "Request to be Designated a Qualified Bidder at Auction." That form can be found at www.cfterminals.com/Overbidder.html and must be submitted prior to the date of the auction. A deposit must also be received, via wire or certified check, prior to the date of the auction.
Properties up for sale Thursday include:
Eau Claire, Wis. -- Located at 4115 Mcintyre St., the property is an eight-door cross-dock facility situated on 2.25 acres. A contract price of $210,000 has been established for the CF property.
Indianapolis, Ind. -- This distribution facility, located at 3915 West Morris St., is a 223-door cross-dock distribution facility situated on 33.12 acres. A contract price of $4.5 million has been established for this property.
Hutchinson, Minn. -- Located at 175 Michigan St., this is a five-door cross-dock distribution facility situated on 2.75 acres. A contract price of $141,000 has been established for the CF property.
El Paso, Texas -- A distribution facility located at 300 North Clark Drive is a 62-door cross-dock distribution facility situated on 7.5 acres. A contract price of $2.4 million has been established for the CF property.
Wichita, Kansas -- A distribution facility located at 3838 South Gold is a 22-door cross-dock distribution facility situated on 12.48 acres. A contract price of $525,000 has been established for the CF property.
St. Louis, Mo. -- Located at 8500 North Hall St. is a 142-door cross-dock distribution facility situated on 22.15 acres. A contract price of $2,400,000 has been established.
Tucson, Ariz. -- Situated at 3350 East Ajo Way is a 21-door cross-dock distribution facility situated on five acres. A contract price of $775,000 has been established for the CF property.
Kennewick, Wash. -- Located at 900 East Bruneau Ave. is a 14-door cross-dock distribution facility situated on 2.55 acres. A contract price of $225,000 has been established.
To date, 59 CF properties throughout the U.S. have been sold for $165 million.
