Bennett Motor Express, McDonough, Ga has completed the purchase of Ace Doran Hauling & Rigging, a Cincinnati, Ohio-based company since 1913.
Parent company, Bennett International Group, says the purchase extends its Bennett Motor Express’ open-deck trucking capacity and strengthens its geographic footprint in the Midwest and Northeast as well as Canada. The addition of Ace Doran’s 200 independent owner-operators increases Bennett’s fleet by 25% to more than 800 trucks. Over 100 additional transportation freight agents will have access to the combined fleet.
