Barr-Nunn Transportation has again increased its pay for owner-operators, offering them $1,100 for every 60,000 paid miles, starting with their third appreciation bonus.
Barr-Nunn Transportation has again increased its pay for owner-operators, offering them $1,100 for every 60,000 paid miles, starting with their third appreciation bonus.
The appreciation bonus of $1,100 will continue as long as they are leased to Barr-Nunn. This is based purely on paid miles with no safety qualifier, and goes into effect July 20.
Director of Recruiting, Jeff Blank, said, "This change to our appreciation bonus puts $2,200 extra cash in our owner-operators' pockets year after year. We are always looking for ways to show our appreciation to our independent contractors."
This pay raise is just one of recent upgrades for owner-operators at Barr-Nunn. There has been a pay rate raise as well as a $1.29 per gallon diesel guarantee now in effect. These changes continue to help contractors' business thrive. To find out more about this or other programs at Barr-Nunn, call (888) 999-7576 or visit www.barr-nunn.com.
