Averitt To Offer Faster Service
Averitt Express has improved its freight transportation service from two-day to next-day service in more than 60 lane
Averitt Express has improved its freight transportation service from two-day to next-day service in more than 60 lanes
within its regional less-than-truckload service network. The enhanced delivery times will impact lanes in virtually every state in which the carrier operates.
Averitt officials say the service time improvements were made possible by operational adjustments within the company's linehaul system and tools such as handheld freight scanners used at the company's service centers.
Based in Cookeville, Tenn., Averitt Express is a full-service freight transportation and logistics provider offering LTL, expedited (ground and air), truckload, dedicated, and international freight transportation services.
