Averitt Express, which provides freight transportation and supply chain management around the world, is now offering customer support on 24 hour a day, 7 day a week basis for all types of shipments
Averitt Express, which provides freight transportation and supply chain management around the world, is now offering customer support on 24 hour a day, 7 day a week basis for all types of shipments.
Averitt's new around-the-clock customer support, which is available for all less-than-truckload (LTL) and full truckload moves, includes personal assistance for common customer service requests, such as shipment tracking.
While 24/7 support is common in the freight industry for specialized, time-critical shipments, Averitt is among the first providers to offer 24/7 customer service for both time-critical and standard shipments.
According to company officials, the move to a 24/7 customer support was driven by customer need, especially those operating on multiple shifts. Customers will be able to call any time to trace a shipment, receive a rate quote, inquire about a freight bill, or ask general questions.
Averitt provides customer support through its centralized National Call Center, located at its corporate office in Cookeville, Tenn.
Customers can reach its customer support line by dialing toll-free (800) 283-7488.
