Anderson Trucking Service Inc. (ATS) announced that ATS Sureway-NY of Dunkirk, N.Y., recently received a four-year contract from Labatt USA to arrange the transportation of nearly all imported Labatt products.

The assignment was made following a stringent, invitation-only bidding process which eliminated many previously approved Labatt USA carriers and came as a result of the implementation of a new shipping program by the international brewer.
"We are very proud of the efforts of the ATS Sureway associates, for the hard work and dedication they have shown," said Rollie Anderson, president of ATS, "and we look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with Labatt USA."
With the new contract, ATS Sureway is anticipating the need to add to its work force by commencing renovations to its office located at 314 Central in downtown Dunkirk.
"The transportation industry is very competitive," said Greg Lorenzo, general manager for ATS Sureway-NY. "We've been a part of the Labatt USA program for a number of years, but this award nearly quadruples the amount of product we've shipped in the past. It's also a multi-year contract so we know we can count on this volume of business for a minimum of four years."
Since 1955, Anderson Trucking Services Inc. has provided specialized services to companies throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico. ATS offers specialized, flatbed, heavy haul, van, logistics, intermodal and international transportation services.
