American Trucking Associations is accepting nominations for truck drivers to serve on the 2013-2014 America's Road Team as Road Team captains.
America's Road Team, sponsored by Volvo Trucks North America, is a program that advocates the importance of highway safety several days each month, along with government leaders, transportation officials, news media and the public.
Every two years, ATA searches for professional drivers demonstrate the trucking industry's commitment to safety. ATA looks for drivers with lots of experience on the road and exceptional driving records.
The program has been in operation since 1986 and serves as a rallying point for the spirit of professional dedication and teamwork needed to deliver America's freight safely and on time.
