ASF Intermodal announced the opening of the company’s newest intermodal drayage facility in Chicago, the firm’s first location in the Midwest. The new Chicago terminal is located in Rockdale, Illinois and is the first of several Midwest terminals ASF Intermodal plans to open over the next 12 months.
Paul Heyder, an experienced professional with more than 20 years of management experience in the trucking industry, has been named terminal manager. The new terminal will begin with two office employees and expects to add 20 owner-operator drivers within its first three months of operations.
