ASF Intermodal opened an intermodal drayage facility in Fort Worth, Texas. It's the firm's third such facility in the state, joining locations in Houston and Dallas.
Along with the Dallas location, the new facility will allow ASF to strategically serve the north and south of Dallas, according to the company.
“We are extremely excited about establishing a presence in Fort Worth,” said Michael Smith, president of ASF. “We have had great success in our current Dallas location and due to the size of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metro, we have decided to expand within the market.”
The facility will be staffed by two employees and ten drivers and the company plans to expand to 25 trucks within the first six months of operations. The Fort Worth terminal is located at 1150 Blue Mound Road West, Suite 103.
