Hendrickson recently hosted a steering and suspension technician-training clinic for the American Council of Frame and Alignment Specialists (ACOFAS) at its Truck Division headquarters and Engineering Center in Woodridge, Ill.

The focus of the clinic was the Hendrickson Air-Tek, PriMaax and the HaulMaax suspension systems. Nine instructors from Hendrickson teamed up with 24 ACOFAS members for two days of intense classroom and hands-on training.
The instructors covered the system design, wear points, the dos and don'ts for service/repair procedures and safety precautions. ACOFAS members were also able to visit Hendrickson's laboratory to see how the company tests out all of its product lines to determine life cycles, and to manufacture new proto-type suspension systems.
Bill Wade, from Wade & Partners, assisted in organizing this training clinic. He also was a speaker at the clinic, discussing the future of the repair industry and the shortage of trained technicians.
At the conclusion of the clinic, Hendrickson provided all ACOFAS shop owners and technicians with service manuals and service publications for the suspension systems that were covered during the classes.
