SAE Turns 100, Will Celebrate

The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) plans special celebrations at several of its conferences and expositions to celebrate its 100th year of service to the mobility engineering community.

SAE 100th anniversary programs are being planned at the following events:
• SAE 2004 Motorsports Engineering Conference and Exhibition–Nov. 30-Dec. 2, Hyatt Regency Dearborn, Dearborn, Mich.
• SAE 2005 World Congress–April 11-15, Cobo Center, Detroit, Mich. A banquet and other events will spotlight the 100th Anniversary.
• 2005 Foundation Banquet–May 24, GM Wintergarden, Detroit, Mich.
• 2005 Government & Industry Meeting–May 10, National Air & Space Museum, Washington, D.C.
• 2005 Student Competition–100-Mile Mini-Baja, June 1-4, southern Arizona.
• 2005 SAE AeroTech Congress and Exhibition–Oct. 3-7, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas. A banquet and other events will spotlight the 100th Anniversary.
• 2005 Commercial Vehicle–Nov. 1-3, Chicago, Ill. A banquet and other events will spotlight the 100th Anniversary.
