LTL carrier Overnite Transportation Co., Richmond, Va. has implemented a series of faster transit times covering its service centers in Detroit and Toledo, Ohio.
According to the company, Baltimore and Hagerstown, Md., Pittsburgh and York, Pa., and Buffalo, N.Y., will now be under the one-day service umbrella currently served by both Midwest cities. Also Toledo joins Detroit in offering one-day service to and from Harrisburg, Pa.
In March, Overnite announced two-day service from points in Indiana and Illinois to major markets on the East Coast including New York City, Philadelphia and Tampa, Fla.
