The California Trucking Assn. (CTA) said it has selected PriceWeber, a Louisville, Ky.-based marketing communications firm, to market the CTA’s 2004 International Trucking Show (ITS).

PriceWeber will produce advertising and direct mail campaigns aimed at packing the ITS floor with qualified buyers – a top priority of the business-to-business show, Sept. 23-25 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.
"We’re delighted to team up with PriceWeber for what’s rapidly shaping up to be the most dynamic International Trucking Show in the event’s 43-year history," said Joel D. Anderson, executive vice president/CEO of CTA.
"If you are an exhibitor at the 2004 ITS, you’re going to have the qualified buyers you want to see --and lots of them," Anderson said.
PriceWeber is a recognized as a national leader in developing integrated marketing and public relations campaigns for the transportation industry. This year, for example, PriceWeber launched a nationwide image-building campaign for the U.S. trucking industry on behalf of The American Trucking Assns. That campaign includes the tagline, "Good Stuff – Trucks Bring It."
"The 2004 International Trucking Show is a perfect fit for PriceWeber’s expertise. We look forward to demonstrating to the trucking industry that attending the show is an investment in time that pays off in dollars," said Shanna Columbus, president and CEO of PriceWeber.
Located within an hour of almost 100,000 Californians who work in every area of commercial trucking, the 2004 ITS is the largest commercial trucking show and exposition west of the Mississippi River. It offers three days of marketplace exposure to qualified buyers in the most concentrated medium and heavy duty truck market in the United States.
Additionally, the show’s events, seminars and workshops are designed to help participants run their businesses more profitably. All revenue from the show is reported to the CTA board of directors, and goes to activities and programs that directly benefit the California trucking industry.
This year’s show is being held near Disneyland, and close to a range of affordable hotel accommodations. For a current ITS floor plan and space application, log on to www.intltruckshow.com, or call (800) 809-8839.
