Business is growing for Streicher Mobile Fueling, a large provider of mobile fueling on the West Coast.

The company has added an annualized net increase of 4,800,000 gallons of petroleum products sold and delivered in its "wet hosing" operations since February 1. This core activity taking place primarily at night is now being complemented by new bulk fuel deliveries during daytime hours of 10,600,000 gallons.
During its last fiscal year ended January 31, 2001 SMF delivered 57,600,000 gallons of fuel most of which were by wet hosing. The initial ramp up of bulk fuel deliveries is in California where SMF services provided to a major refiner are anticipated to grow the annualized bulk volume to approximately 30,000,000 gallons.
The extra wet hosing and bulk delivery volumes are expected to increase utilization of the SMF truck fleet and reduce both variable and fixed costs per gallon of fuel delivered.
SMF is a key player in mobile fueling of environmentally friendly alternative fuels such as ultra-low sulfur diesel, bio-diesel and ethanol.
SMF provides cost effective mobile fueling and fuel management services, primarily to customers operating large fleets of vehicles and equipment. SMF's specialized truck fleet delivers fuel to customers' locations, refueling vehicles and equipment and/or resupplying storage facilities. A proprietary electronic fuel system is used to measure, record, and track fuel dispensed to each vehicle and tank fueled at a customer location allowing verification of the amount of fuel delivered and providing customers with customized fleet fuel data for management analysis and tax reporting. SMF currently has 109 mobile fueling trucks in operation from 16 locations in 5 states.
