More than 500 commercial vehicle safety enforcement officials and industry representatives from the U.S., Canada and Mexico will be attending the conference. Clyde Hart, Acting Deputy Administrator of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, will give the keynote address. Hart is expected to discuss the USDOT's hours of service proposal and efforts to get more information on the subject by holding additional hearings this fall.
