The Oil Price Information service has scheduled its sixth annual Fleet Fueling Expo for Sept. 24-26 at Nashville's Opryland Hotel.
The keynote address will be given by Jim Alderman with BP/Amoco and will cover volatility in fuel prices, significant events that have changed fuel supply, and Internet commerce.
Other sessions will cover more on fuel volatility, creative ways to market your truckstop, buying fuel smarter, a carrier panel, e-commerce, the urban truckstop and driver retention.
Last year's expo drew almost 400 executives. For more information, call 1-800-260-1545 or visit www.opisfleetfuel.com.
Recent Class 8 trade volumes have been lower than predicted, which means pricing has been more stable than expected for used trucks, according to J.D. Power & Associates.
