ANA's annual CASIE competition drew over 300 entries from all over the country. A total of 20 finalists in five categories were selected by a panel of judges representing different aspects of interactive media. Penske's online rental site was one of five finalists in the services category. The company says it received its first inquiry 12 minutes after the site went online. The goal for the year was $250,000 in rental sales but the site met that in just 6 weeks. Penske says online sales represents new business, not transfers from the company's leasing centers or toll-free numbers.
