Dan Pixler, U.S. Trucking president and ceo, said the acquisitions would expand the company's revenue base in non-asset, fee-based businesses which represent approximately 70% of total current revenues. The company would benefit from greater economies of scale, operating efficiencies and improved margins and profits. The acquisition was expected to increase revenues to more than $65 million within the first year.
In a letter to Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb, the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association attacked the 35% increase to truck tolls on the Indiana Toll Road, calling them ineffective, punitive, and discriminatory.
