Both revenue and income were up for U.S. Trucking, Charleston, SC through the third quarter.
Revenues for the quarter were $12 million, up 135% from $5.1 million for the same period last year. Net income for the third quarter was nearly $370,000, compared with more than $17,000 for the same period last year.
For the first nine months of 1999, revenues rose 89% to $29.8 million, while net income was nearly $684,000, compared with nearly $210,000 for the first nine months of 1998.
The increase in revenues was attributed to increased contributions from recent acquisitions and continued contributions from the insurance program.
