The extended tour gives customers more opportunities to get behind the wheel of the new models and test drive them for the first time, while seeing how their local International dealership can support their business objectives.
This year's tour showcases the new International 9000i series of conventionals. The tour will visit more locations than ever before, with three separate tours covering the United States and Canada simultaneously. Each tour will feature an International 9200i, 9400i and 9900i. In the United States, the brand new 9900ix, with 10 extra inches from bumper to back of cab, will join the tour, as well.
Eagle Tour '99 will visit 20 truckstop locations and several truck shows between now and the first of November.
The company expects about 2,000 test drives to take place, all with fully loaded trailers for a more accurate demonstration. Company representatives and local International dealers will be on hand at each location. Everyone who takes a test drive during the Eagle Tour will be entered in a sweepstakes to win an International Eagle of their choice once the tour is over.
