Vehicle relocation service Auto Driveaway, which serves large corporate fleets, has acquired the assets of heavy truck transport service J&J, which expands its scope in the heavy truck transportation market.

Auto Driveaway acquired the assets of J&J Drive-Away, Inc. and J&J Freight Brokers, LLC, the company has announced. J&J moves trucks, complex assets, and other freight using drivers in 49 states and parts of Canada for over 500 customers including truck manufacturers, Fortune 500 companies, dealerships, and purchasers of new and used heavy trucks.

Auto Driveaway primarily serves corporate fleets as well as vehicle leasing and management companies, and its primary services include fleet shipping and fleet management services, single vehicle door-to-door shipping, and expedited shipping.

Auto Driveaway also recently hired former Element Fleet Management’s senior vice president of strategic alliances and sourcing, Matthew Salm, to serve as the COO of Auto Driveaway and J&J Driveaway.  He was hired to help manage the growth of both companies.
