Uber Freight is an app that was launched last year as part of the ride-sharing company’s effort to bring its business model to the trucking industry.
Through Uber Freight, shippers can now receive instant price quotes for shipments with rates that are based on market conditions and other factors. The platform also offers access to Uber Freight’s network of carriers and drivers.
Shipments can be tracked online at any time of day, and Uber Freight will send automatic notifications for major milestones. The app can also streamline document management for shippers, with all necessary documents and paperwork being organized and stored for future access.
