Truck-Lite Develops Sky-Lite to Illuminate Trailer Interiors

Truck-Lite has released a new product called Sky-Lite, a lensed polycarbonate product that is installed in a trailer to increase visibility by allowing natural light to enter.

The Sky-Lite fits in a 4-inch-diameter hole cut into the upper sidewall of the trailer. It snaps in and is sealed by a peel-and-stick adhesive gasket.

According to Vice President of Marketing Bob Ives, benefits of the Sky-Lite include increased energy efficiency, a safer work environment and more accurate loading and unloading.
