These coverage packages will be sold separately as options to go along with programs currently offered.
"We developed these options because our dealers have expressed an interest in coverage for these components," said Larry Palkins, national sales director for Premium 2000+™, says, We spent a good amount of time researching these components and developed a program to protect the buyer from the devastating consequences that a failure of one of these parts can have on the buyer of a used truck."
DPF and EGR coverage will be available on all Class 8 trucks and tractors. These new programs will be available in conjunction with several of the programs already offered by Premium.
Lynn Murphy, president and CEO of Premium 2000+™, added that he expects to see an increase in the number of claims when these coverage options become available. "We are currently adding people in our claims department to handle this increase. We are a warranty company whose successful philosophy includes the fact that we consider the payment of claims to be our best form of advertising."
Murphy also announced that the company will roll out a towing option next month.
