Multi Service has teamed up with Dealer Solutions to integrate data communications between national account programs managed by Multi Service and Dealer Solutions' Platinum Software Suite.

Through the integration, Dealer Solutions' dealer customers will be able to interface to Multi Service's Service Gate solution, which was designed to streamline the communication of transaction data between aftermarket parts dealers and OEM national account programs.

Through the Service Gate interface, participating dealers will be prompted for all required transaction details for national account programs directly within their dealer management system. The Service Gate system will automate price verification, invoice authorization and submission as well as accounts receivable reconciliation for all program transactions.

"By incorporating one or all of the available Service Gate features, parts dealers will increase efficiency and profitability," said Mark O'Connell, president of Multi Service.

Dealer Solutions is in the process of rolling out Service Gate to many of its dealer customers now. Multi Service and Dealer Solutions will make the interface available to dealers accepting select OEM national accounts over the next several months.
