Gateway Safety has introduced its StarLite Mag and Scorpion Mag biofocal eye protection for use in the shop.
Gateway Safety Enhances Line of Protection Eyewear

Bifocals are necessary for those with presbyopia, a visual condition related to aging that causes lowered ability to focus sharply for near vision. Bifocal eyewear allows workers to clearly read instrumentation, work with small parts, or perform other close tasks without having to switch between their regular safety glasses and reading glasses.

The two models come in four diopter strengths, including 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, and 2.5.

The StarLite Mag model has a more cost-effective, lightweight design than the original version. Lenses come in clear or gray with a clear anti-fog option.

Scorpion Mag is made with adjustable-length, ratcheting temples, and a soft "fingertip" nosepiece. In addition, it has a venting system that helps minimize fogging. Lenses come in clear or gray.
