Agility Fuel Systems has hired Andy Douglas as senior vice president of Sales, Marketing and Customer Service.
Douglas had been leading Paccar’s natural gas market initiatives for the past 10 years and in his time there worked to develop new markets in the NAFTA region.
Agility Fuel Systems is based in Santa Ana, Calif., and develops natural gas systems for heavy trucks and buses from concept to installation.
“We are excited to bring Andy’s vast heavy truck OE experience and leadership in the natural gas field to Agility in order to accelerate our sales growth, further develop our brand and continue to provide outstanding service to our customers,” said Barry Engle, CEO of Agility.
During his more than 30-year career, Douglas held many executive positions with Paccar and its divisions including Kenworth, Paccar Financial and PacLease. Douglas has a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics, a Masters of Business Administration from Seattle University and has attended Stanford Business School’s Executive Education Program.

Hydrogen combustion engine trucks will be especially suitable over longer distances and in regions where there is limited charging infrastructure or time for recharging of battery-electric trucks, according to the company.
