The price of diesel exhaust fluid at the pump jumped in August while tote prices remained level, according to the latest DEF Tracker price update from Integer Research

Below are some highlights from the latest report:
- The average price of bulk DEF deliveries across the seven U.S. MSAs covered by DEF Tracker moved upwards between July and August 2012; however, the tote price remained level
- The U.S. DEF pump price increased by 7 cents to $2.77 per gallon between July and August, after recording a significant drop between June and July. The price increased or remained the same in all but three states; Michigan, Iowa and Connecticut
-Truckstop operators added bulk DEF dispensers at 54 locations in August, bringing the total to 623.
