PlusAI, a company developing AI-based virtual driver software for autonomous trucks, has formed a Safety and Policy Advisory Council. The group will advise PlusAI on safety issues, operational strategies, and the regulatory environment as the company moves toward its planned 2027 commercial launch of factory-built autonomous trucks.

“The safe and successful commercialization of autonomous trucks requires more than technology,” said Shawn Kerrigan, chief operating officer and co-founder at PlusAI. “It requires partnerships with industry leaders and regulators to ensure safe and scalable deployment.”
