Mega commercial truck dealer group Rush Truck Centers announced a strategic partnership with Asset IQ, which provides asset reclamation, management, and remarketing solutions for financial institutions.

Rush Truck Centers will provide truck repair, reconditioning and assistance with remarketing services through its network of more than 140 dealerships in 23 states across the United States.

According to a news release, this partnership delivers a seamless, end-to-end solution for financial institutions and truck buyers.

“This collaboration ensures a steady pipeline of high-quality, well-maintained, trucks for our customers, giving them greater access to reliable equipment that’s ready to work,” said Trey Golden, vice president of used trucks for Rush Enterprises.

What Does Asset IQ Do and How Does That Benefit Used-Truck Buyers?

Asset IQ is a dedicated provider of remarketing, inventory and asset management solutions, which it says gives its clients a lower cost and more effective alternative to the complex process of reclamation, disposition, ongoing management and resale of high-value assets (either through repossession or end of term).

While Asset IQ manages the reclamation and asset remarketing process in this new collaboration, Golden explained, Rush focuses on repairing and servicing the trucks, and helping Asset IQ with remarketing them through Rush’s nationwide dealership network.

“Partnering with Rush Truck Centers allows us to deliver a complete, end-to-end solution for our clients,” said Dale Barger, Principal/Owner of Asset Intelligence Group.

“From efficient reclamation to industry-best reconditioning and resale, this collaboration ensures that each vehicle is handled with integrity and prepared to return maximum value," Barger said in a news release.

"Rush Truck Centers’ reputation for quality and national reach means our clients and, ultimately, truck buyers, benefit from greater confidence in the condition, performance and availability of high-quality commercial trucks."

With this agreement, both companies aim to improve speed to market, enhance asset values, and provide buyers with access to high-quality trucks.
