More About Jennifer Akre

Akre serves as the managing partner for Tyson & Mendes’ Houston, Texas office. She has more than 15 years of experience litigating high-risk cases in both civil and criminal arenas and has significant experience in trucking and transportation. Her practice has included the defense of companies of all sizes in the transportation and logistics industry, as well as the oil and gas industry, and multifamily housing industry.

Prior to joining Tyson & Mendes, Akre was a partner at a large Texas-based firm. She also managed her own criminal defense practice for four years, defending clients in federal and state court, and clerked for several judges on the Missouri State Court of Appeals.
