Deborah Lockridge, HDT editor and associate publisher, and Jack Roberts, executive editor, will share their insights on the latest trucking industry trends during Heavy Duty Trucking Exchange in Scottsdale, Arizona, Sept. 5

In this interactive session, Lockridge and Roberts will share what they see about hot topics such as the impact of AI and other quickly evolving technology, changing driver demographics, emissions regulations, and the push to zero-emission trucks on fleets.

Heavy Duty Trucking Exchange, Sept. 4-6 in Scottsdale, Arizona, is an intimate event centered around networking for trucking fleet managers and industry suppliers. Approved managers of heavy-duty trucking fleets attending HDTX will receive complementary travel, lodging, and meals.

Other sessions will include:

  • Jack Van Steenburg, the recently retired number-two guy at the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, will give inside insights into the agency and upcoming trucking regulations during the welcoming keynote address Sept. 4.

  • Jennifer Akre of Tyson & Mendes will deliver the lunch keynote on Sept. 5, discussing nuclear verdicts based on her experience defending trucking companies.

  • The HDT Truck Fleet Innovator awards ceremony and panel discussion

In this informal session, Lockridge and Roberts will share insights and address attendee-submitted questions on topics such as:

Roberts, also an award-winning writer, has specialized in advanced technology within the trucking industry, offering expert analysis on topics ranging from autonomous vehicles to equipment testing.
