Webb has unveiled a new line of brake pads specifically engineered for air disc brakes. New UltraGrip brake pads are available in three brake pad formulations matched to the needs of each user: Plus, Premium, and Severe-Duty options for a wide range of applications. The pads are designed with performance characteristics matched to the application for wear properties, stopping power, and rotor friendliness.

  • UltraGrip Plus – High-quality pads designed for a wide range of on-highway truck/trailer applications

  • UltraGrip Premium – Premium quality pads designed for a wide range of on-highway truck/trailer applications

Fine-Tuned Brake Pad Options

Webb said fleets have a choice of UltraGrip air disc brake pad options that work best for their fleet or even specific vehicles in their operation. If they have a fleet with vehicles doing different types of work, they can purchase the right pad for each application. Each pad option comes boxed as an axle set with the appropriate OEM grade hardware and color-coded to help identify them to ensure you always pull the right set when they are needed for service.

UltraGrip pads, with their patented pad retention system, have been extensively dyno and fleet tested and validated for quality and performance standards, Webb said in a press release.  They are Level “N” Copper-Free Certified, ECE R90 Compliant, and meet or exceed FMVSS-121 criteria.
