Pilot opened a new travel center today in Tyler, Texas, at the intersection of Interstate 20 and Farm-to-Market 14.

The new, 11,000-square-foot facility features six fuel islands and eight diesel islands as well as a restaurant and other convenience items.

"We hope that Tyler area residents and fleet customers will enjoy the convenient location of our new travel center," said Jimmy Haslam, president and CEO of Pilot Travel Centers. "We expect that this brand new food and fuel stop will meet the travel and business needs of our customers and the community."

The travel center includes a McDonald's restaurant; an ATM; fax and copy services; lottery and lotto games; laundry services; a deli; and an expanded grill area featuring Oscar Mayer hot dogs.

In addition to diesel fuel, professional drivers will have access to such services as a CAT scale and seven showers.
