New Jersey-based logistics provider Tucker Company has joined the American Trucking Associations, in an effort to work more closely with its counterparts to advance the interests of the trucking industry.

"We're proud to be a member of the ATA," said Tucker Company CEO Jeffrey Tucker. "Today our industry is being confronted with more and more issues and policy-making matters that need to be addressed. The ATA enables us to deal with shared visions and goals."

ATA President and Chief Executive Officer Bill Graves welcomed Tucker Company's decision to join the ranks of trucking leaders. Graves said logistics providers have an important role to play in the reliable movement of freight.

Tucker Company is a Cherry Hill, N.J.-based firm established in 1961 that provides a complete range of logistics services for commercial shippers throughout North America, including freight transportation management for truckload and less-than-truckload freight, intermodal, expedited, and air freight.
