Eric Harley, host of The Midnight Trucking Radio Network, will be on hand to introduce visitors to Rhonda Vincent, the "Queen of Bluegrass" from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, and Grammy Winner Suzy Bogguss from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday in the MTRN booth. The pair will be signing autographs and talking with drivers as they enter the show.
In addition, visitors can meet "The Chrome Shop Mafia," between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday.
Featured artist Rhonda Vincent's 2008 album, "Good Thing Going," just debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard's Blue Grass charts. Miss Bluegrass herself has received many awards from SPBGMA for Best Single Recording, 'Entertainer of the Year' in 2001, the 'Female Vocalist of the Year' for four years, 2004 Grammy winner, and multiple winner of honors from bluegrass societies nationwide.
She was most proud when the Wall Street Journal called her the "Queen of Bluegrass."
MTRN's other featured artist, singer/songwriter Suzy Bogguss, is a multi-award-winning and, as her new CD "Sweet Danger" proves, multi-faceted entertainer. Suzy has won CMA's Horizon Award, Female Artist and Album of the Year.
Visitors to the MTRN booth can register for the $1,000 cash and other great prizes to be given away at the close of the show.
