Ford Recalls F-Series Trucks, Expedition for Shifter Cable

Ford is recalling an estimated 350,000 2018 F-150 and 2018 Expedition vehicles with 10-speed automatic transmissions as well as 2018 F-650 and F-750 vehicles with six-speed automatic transmissions because a clip that locks the gear shift cable may not be fully seated.

Sales of Ford’s medium-duty F-650 and F-750 trucks have increased 59% year-over-year through August, the best year-to-date sales through August since 1997, according to Ford.
