YRC Worldwide will cut 121 jobs from a terminal in Columbus, Ohio, reports The Columbus Dispatch.
Of the jobs cut, 64 will be drivers, 33 will be dock employees, 18 are mechanics and six are switchers.
According to a notice filed with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, the employees' last day will be sometime from April 8-22. Some workers could possibly transfer to other YRC operations.
YRC Worldwide lost $120 million for its third quarter and $265 million for the year. In January, the company, based in Overland Park, Kan., announced plans to cut 100 jobs in Akron, Ohio.
"It really comes down to an economics issue," Jeff Rogers, the new president of YRC, told the Akron Beacon Journal after January's announcement. "We're still losing money."
