Washington State officials have pushed back the date of a major 87-hour Interstate 5 lane closure, according to the state Department of Transportation.
The closure was previously scheduled for this week. Only northbound lanes between about Burlington and Lake Samish will be affected.
This will be the second closure. During the first one, which occurred the week of June 20, highway workers built and repaved major sections of I-5.
