Employees of Wheaton World Wide Moving, the Indianapolis-based provider of worldwide relocation services, recently hosted a presentation by Give Kids The World organization at Wheaton’s Partnership Conference in Indianapolis.

Keaton White, who has been battling cancer since October 2001, discussed his stay at Give Kids The World, a resort located near Orlando, Fla., that provides a week-long vacation to families of children with life-threatening illnesses whose one wish is to visit Central Florida’s best-loved attractions.
"Some of us that are sick may never grow up and become old," White said.
"But for just this one special week out of our life, the world is given to us."
Families visiting Give Kids The World receive tickets to Central Florida attractions, a villa to call home for the week, meals and more – all at no cost to them.
White, who is 12 years old, told conference attendees that his dream is to someday return to Florida and volunteer at Give Kids The World while he attends college. "Give Kids The World was one of the happiest times of my life," White said. "I just want to be sure that someday another little boy or girl and their family are loved just as much as me and my family were loved."
Wheaton Chairman Steve Burns presented him with a check for $5,000 to aid with mounting medical expenses related to his treatment. Burns also invited White to be a part of Wheaton’s 2004 Partnership Conference to be held in San Diego, Calif., next November.
Wheaton World Wide Moving has been a corporate sponsor of Give Kids The World since 2000. During this time, Wheaton and its agents and drivers have donated more than $200,000 to the nonprofit organization.
