Werner Enterprises, a nearly half-century-old truckload carrier, has improved its monthly mileage bonus program for solo company van drivers.

Solo van drivers who exceed 9,500 total paid miles in a month will be eligible to receive additional cash. Drivers who exceed 10,000 paid miles in a month will be paid an additional one cent per mile, and drivers who exceed 10,500 paid miles will receive two cents per mile. This bonus is paid on all miles. The bonus program took effect this month.
Werner Enterprises, headquartered in Omaha, Neb., is a truckload carrier of general commodities in interstate and intrastate commerce. The company runs dry vans, flatbeds and temperature-controlled vans in the 48 contiguous states and Canada and Mexico.
