USF Holland, USF Red Star and USF Reddaway, operating companies of USF Corp., have received Outstanding Service awards from DuPont Logistics,
based on the carriers' records of customer satisfaction, safety and zero distribution incidents in 2002.
USF Holland, USF Red Star and USF Reddaway were among 23 U.S. motor carriers honored with Outstanding Service awards during the annual DuPont Package Carrier Safety and Security meeting in Wilmington, Del., attended by more than 150 representatives from about 80 package truck carriers. The conference focused on how carriers can improve their safety and security procedures while also improving their service to DuPont businesses.
"These carriers are among the very best the trucking industry has to offer large, complex shippers such as DuPont," said Mario Hegewald, leader of the DuPont Global Logistics Center of Excellence. "Their outstanding service, a sharp focus on DuPont businesses and their customers, and leading safety performance are among the key factors that led us to choose them as our partners. During 2002, these carriers delivered on all fronts."
