Canada-based TransX Group of Companies has appointed Ron Joseph as president of TransX USA and launched a new website.
Joseph is responsible for the expansion of the U.S. truckload and brokerage business.
"Throughout his career, Ron consistently delivered superior result," said Louie Tolaini, president, TransX Group of Companies. "Combine that with the launch of www.transxusa.com and we're ready for the upswing in the economy."
Joseph joins from FedEx Ground, where he served as senior vice president of linehaul, safety and maintenance. In his new position, he'll report to Tolaini. Prior to FedEx, he worked for Roadway Package System, first as a director, then as vice president.
